Patsy and Ron Lewellyn’s third-story condominium in downtown Aiken could be called a study in contemporary urban living. Even on a cloudy spring afternoon, the living room is filled with light from tall windows that overlook Laurens Street. Polished surfaces gleam—dark walnut floors, glass-table tops, an ebony grand piano. A pair of brilliant abstract paintings hang above the stylishly neutral L-shaped sofa. The dining room table is set for company with china and crystal.
